1. Shipping & Delivery

All material purchased from Composite Deck Shop can be delivered to jobsites in Ontario that are accessible to large trucks. Shipping outside Ontario is available upon request.

 

Material may be shipped by flatbed truck, flatbed trailer, or pick-up truck for smaller railing and accessory orders. Smaller orders may also be shipped by major couriers or Canada Post. Please confirm the type of shipment at the time of purchase and/or select one of the available shipping options at checkout.

Some orders are unloaded using a Moffett mobile forklift, while others are offloaded from a flatbed by hand. If on-site help is needed for a delivery, this will be communicated in the description of the delivery option selected at the time of purchase.

 

Shipping rates vary based on order size, order type, and distance from one of our four Ontario locations. Prices start at $160 per order.

Please note that we drop off material no more than 3 metres from where the delivery truck can park. Special requests, such as placing material in a garage or backyard, may be accommodated for an additional fee and must be custom quoted.

1.2 Delivery timeframes

In-stock items: Next day to 7 business days, depending on the time of year and the order size and type.

Special order items: 4 business days to 14 days, depending on order type, size, and time of year. If special order material is not available through our distribution, this information will be communicated by our sales staff on an individual basis.

2. Pick-Up Information

All material pick-ups require either an online order where pick-up from a given location is available or approval from one of our sales representatives by phone or email.

Please do not arrive at one of our locations expecting to pick up your order immediately. We do not operate self-serve warehouses.

 

After an order is placed, it can take between 4 hours and 3 days to prepare it, provided the material is in stock at the specific location where you wish to pick it up. Timing depends on material quantity, material type, and time of year. A sales representative can provide an exact timeframe.

Custom cutting of purchased material is available upon request at an additional cost.

3. Returns & Refunds

No returns or refunds are allowed on special order material.

In-stock material can be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided it is in original condition and in original packaging that is not damaged in any way. A restocking fee of 20% will be applied to all returns of in-stock material.

 

It is the customer’s responsibility to deliver returned material to our store or make arrangements for material pick-up at the customer’s cost. Composite Deck Shop will take between 1 and 4 business days to evaluate the condition of returned material. If its condition is deemed not to be original, it is the customer’s responsibility to pick up the material and no refund will be issued. The condition of returned material is evaluated at the sole discretion of Composite Deck Shop staff.

4. Warranty

Composite Deck Shop does not provide any warranty for the products it sells. Most products we sell have their own manufacturer’s warranty. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the manufacturer’s warranty before purchase. Composite Deck Shop is not obligated to assist customers with warranty issues or claims.

Special order material cannot be returned or refunded. In-stock material may be returned within 30 days if it is in original condition and original, undamaged packaging, and a 20% restocking fee applies. Composite Deck Shop does not provide product warranties; most products carry a manufacturer’s warranty.
