Trex transcend is protected a 50-year Limited Residential Warranty and a 50-year Fade and Stain Warranty.
These warranties will guarantee that if your transcend decking does not perform up to Trex’s high standards, you will be reimbursed a substantial amount of your investment.
All Trex products have warranties of varying lengths, but the Transcend collection has the longest and most thorough one:
- Enhance Decking features a 25-year warranty.
- Select Decking features a 35-year warranty.
- Transcend Decking features a 50-year warranty.
The warranties cover 100% of your cost for the first 10 years. The 50-year warranty covers 50% or more of your cost for almost 30 years. Thats 30 years of reliable peace of mind and not having to worry. Afterwards, it will still cover a large portion of your decking until the 50 years are up.

For picture frames and stair treads. This board is secured using screws and plugs.
Riser
Exact Size: 0.56″ x 7.25″
Available Lengths: 12′
For stair rises and siding. This board uses the HeadCote Fascia fastening system.

Trex Composite Decking Transcend Collection FAQ
How do you install Trex Transcend Decking?
- Before installation, cut board edges – they do not come clean-cut from the factory. 3/16″ minimum cut recommended.
- Trex Universal Fasteners are the recommended clips for all Trex Boards.
- For Edge boards, use Cortex Screws & Plug System. For water application, always use stainless steel screws.
- Use 2 screws per joist.
- Fascia Boards need 2 fascia screws when installed on 8″ framing, 3 screws on 10″+ of framing.
- Use Starborn Fascia System Screws, or Cortex System for Fascia
- Boards need a minimum vertical spacing from the ground for ventilation. We recommend 1.5″ or more.
- Joists for Trex Select boards should be at max at 16″ centres for 90° installation, and 12” for stringers.
- 14″ for 60° install, 12″ for 45° install, 8″ for 30° install.
- Boards should be spaced 3/16″ apart. 3/8″ if in close proximity to water.
- For End-to-End spacing, install with 1/8″ spacing at more than 40°F, and 3/16″ spacing at less than 40°F.
- Wall spacing should be 1/4″ at more than 40°F, 1/2″ at less than 40°F.
Not following manufacturer recommendations could result in a voided warranty.
