About TimberTech EDGE Prime Decking Collection
TimberTech EDGE Prime is a capped composite decking collection designed for a clean painted-wood look with a straight wood grain finish. The collection uses a scalloped board profile for a lighter board while maintaining a secure underfoot feel.
Available colours include Dark Teak™ and Maritime Gray™. Prime decking is a practical choice for customers who want the look of wood with lower maintenance than traditional lumber.

TimberTech EDGE Prime Decking Specifications
Size
TimberTech EDGE Prime deck boards have actual dimensions of 5.36″ wide x 0.94″ thick. Grooved-edge deck boards are available in 12′, 16′, and 20′ lengths. Square-edge boards are available in 20′ length. Matching fascia boards are available in 0.58″ x 11.95″ x 12′, and riser boards are available in 0.58″ x 7.25″ x 12′.
Material
Prime boards are capped composite decking made from a mix of high-performance and recycled polymers with reclaimed wood fibres. The collection is made in the USA from approximately 85% recycled material, including reclaimed plastics and other discarded materials.
Performance
TimberTech EDGE Prime is designed for low-maintenance outdoor living. The boards do not require sanding, staining, or sealing, and regular cleaning can be done with an occasional scrub and rinse.
The protected polymer cap helps resist fading, staining, and moisture-related damage such as mold, mildew, and rot. The composite construction is also designed to resist splintering, cracking, cupping, and peeling.
Warranty
TimberTech EDGE Prime is backed by a 25-Year Limited Product Warranty and a 25-Year Limited Fade & Stain Warranty. Warranty coverage is provided by the manufacturer and should be reviewed before purchase and installation.
Fastening System
For grooved-edge Prime boards, use TimberTech EDGELoc® Hidden Fasteners for Composite for a fastener-free deck surface. TimberTech also lists CONCEALoc® as a hidden fastening system for grooved TimberTech boards; always follow the current TimberTech installation guide for the selected fastening method.
For square-edge Prime boards, use TOPLoc® for TimberTech Composite top-down fasteners or approved composite deck screws as directed by TimberTech installation instructions. Cortex® fasteners are not compatible with Prime scalloped deck boards.
For fascia and riser boards, use TOPLoc® for TimberTech Composite Fascia fasteners in the appropriate colour match for the selected board colour.
Sustainability
TimberTech EDGE Prime is made from approximately 85% recycled material and uses reclaimed wood fibres and recycled polymers to reduce reliance on traditional lumber.

Shipping & Delivery
Composite Deck Shop delivers to jobsites in Ontario that are accessible to large trucks. Shipping outside Ontario may be available upon request.
Orders may be delivered by flatbed truck, flatbed trailer, or pick-up truck depending on order size and material type. Smaller accessory orders may ship by courier or Canada Post where available. Please confirm the shipment method at checkout or with a sales representative before purchase.
Some deliveries are unloaded with a Moffett mobile forklift, while others may require hand offloading from a flatbed. If jobsite help is required for unloading, it will be noted in the selected delivery option.
Delivery cost depends on the order size, product type, and distance from one of the Ontario locations. Material is typically dropped no more than 3 metres from where the delivery truck can safely park. Special placement requests, including garage or backyard placement, may require a custom quote and additional fees.
Delivery timeframes vary by product availability, order size, and season. In-stock items may be delivered as quickly as the next day and up to 7 business days. Special-order items commonly require 4 to 14 business days when available through distribution.
Pick-Up Information
Pick-up requires either an online order with pick-up selected for an available location, or prior approval from a sales representative by phone or email.
Please do not arrive expecting immediate pick-up. Composite Deck Shop does not operate as a self-serve warehouse. Once an order is placed, preparation may take from 4 hours to 3 days when the material is in stock at the selected location.
Custom cutting may be available upon request for an additional cost.
Returns & Refunds
Special-order material is final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
In-stock material may be returned within 30 days of purchase if it is in original condition and original, undamaged packaging. A 20% restocking fee applies to returns of in-stock material.
Customers are responsible for returning material to the store or arranging return pick-up at their own cost. Returned material must be inspected before any refund is issued.
Warranty
Composite Deck Shop does not provide product warranty coverage directly. Most products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Customers are responsible for reviewing the manufacturer’s warranty before purchase and installation.

Orders may be shipped by flatbed truck, flatbed trailer, or pick-up truck for smaller railing and accessory orders. Smaller orders may also ship by major couriers or Canada Post. Please confirm the shipment type at the time of purchase or select an available shipping option at checkout.

All pick-ups require either an online order with pick-up available at the selected location, or approval from one of our sales representatives by phone or email.
