Fascia boards are available in .75 in. x 11.4 in. x 12 ft. for all colours. Riser boards are available in .56 in. x 7.25 in. x 12 ft. for all colours.
• Material: Trex Basics boards are a composite material made from a mix of wood material and 95% recycled plastics. The raw materials are combined and placed into a compression mold in which they are subjected to extreme heat and pressure in order to form the final product that you can see and buy in stores.
• Performance: The boards are covered in a plastic cap, which resists scratching from all common causes, and does not fade or stain. Trex material is resistant to warping and bending, especially if they are installed properly. We recommend 12 inch centres for Enhance Basics and naturals and 16 inch for all other Trex materials.
• Warranty: This collection is backed by a 25-Year Limited Residential Fade & Stain Warranty.
• Fastening System: Trex uses the hidden universal fastener system for their clips. Enhance Basics cannot be plugged, but colour-match screws are available for your edge boards if you want the fastening to be camouflaged.
• Sustainability : Approximately 95% of the plastic material used for these boards is recycled. Most of the wood comes from lumber processing plants. After serving their purpose, these boards can be re-processed.

Lineage is the first composite material with proprietary heat-sinking technology. Trex didn’t tell us exactly how they do it, but this decking board has been measured to cool much faster, and retain less heat in the sun. This means that the temperature remains comfortable even on a hot summer day.
